We were saddened to learn of the passing of James Walker, age 74, of Valley City, ND, died Wednesday, April 4th at Mercy Hospital in Valley City. A private inurnment will be held at St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery in Valley City.
James or "Jimmy," as many of us knew him, was a familiar face around school during our years in the Valley City Public School system. We salute his military experience after high school and remember him now as part of our class and younger days. God bless the memory of James Walker.
James Frank Walker, the son of Gordon and Magdelina (Diemert) Walker, was born May 26, 1943 in Valley City, ND. James grew up and attended school in Valley City. After receiving his education, Jim served in the US Army and the North Dakota National Guard. James lived and worked in Valley City.
