Dave Johnson is our latest Classmate interview participant!

The Hiliners61 Communications Committee is happy to report that our latest "Classmate Interview" is with Dave Johnson. Dave recounts a very interesting career in business, and shares memories of his days in activities at VCHS, including basketball, football and track. He lettered in all three sports. He'll also tell you about his biggest disappointment in high school and some of the fun he had along the way. Thanks to Dave for participating! And we'd like YOU to participate in an interview too. If you're willing, contact our Organizing Chair, Barb (Sheppard) Lang at BarbLang@csicable.net. Meantime, you'll find Dave's interview along with a dozen others in the Interviews with Classmates archive on the right side of your screen. You can go there to watch our latest interview, #14, or click here.  -- Larry Gauper

These interviews are so much fun. Larry makes them so professional and makes the interview easy to do. . I have enjoyed each and every one. I have watched some again and even enjoyed them more! I was never one to read things twice, but this was worth it. Ella Dahl would be so proud! Denny Gillund

I agree with Denny. This has turned out to be a great project for our class thanks to Larry. What a labor of love this is!

The interviews have all been so very interesting - our conversations at reunions tend to be so brief, but this way, we can hear everything being said, AND learn way more about what has happened to our classmates in the past 60 years! Looking forward to seeing several more interviews before our summer reunion!

Thanks to Denny, Diane and Barb for your nice comments. Dave and all of our interview participants have been wonderfully cooperative and very interesting. We've produced 14 of these so far and we want to keep going our next recording via Zoom is planned for January. But we want to line up a participant or two in December. So, if you're at all interested in helping us out, contact Barb at BarbLang@csicable.net We'd love to visit with YOU! - Larry
