Paulson wins another 6-year term!

Congratulations to classmate John T. "Jack" Paulson (VCHS '61) for winning another six-year term as Judge of the Southeast Judicial District in North Dakota on November 2, 2010! Jack has served 29 years on the bench and citizens are fortunate to have his experience continuing to work for them and the cause of justice.

With 92 out of 92 precincts reporting: Judge Paulson received 52.92% of the vote and his competition, attorney Brad Cruff, received 46.89%, according to election stats posted on the Fargo Forum website http://www.inforum.com/

Your Blogmeister asked Jack for a quote and, because, as my classmates know, I'm very modest (usually) and therefore, they also must realize how totally "embarrassed" I am to post the following, but, as those who know me well will attest: I'm certainly not beneath it. This is what Jack said (his words, not mine): "Thanks to Larry G. and his golden voice and good ideas; the radio ads were superb and very convincing to voters." --Jack

Jack, it was you and your outstanding record and reputation that did it once again. You're very generous with your compliments on whatever contribution I made to the effort. To me and to our classmates, I'm sure, it is quite terrific to have one of our own, a 1961 Hiliner, again winning this district judgeship! - Larry Gauper 11-3-2010
