Hey -- those were their football cheerleading outfits -- remember playing football in the snow??

I still want to know what was on their heads. Playing in the snow was great and we all enjoyed it.
I remember those - they were essentially "ear muffs" - sort of angora and covered only the top of their head and ears. Maybe 3" wide. Can't remember if they had an official name - Beth Carlisle, if you are out there with your sterling memory, chime in to answer this question!
