Thanks to Dennis Gillund submitting a comment on this, we now have an ID on this 1960 state campionship Hiliner team (L-R): First row front: Don Charnetzki, Lynn Holcolm, Denny Grubb 2nd row: Hank Toring, John Paulson, Bob Ingstad, Stan Amundson, Howard Svenningsoen; 3rd row: Coach Dehne, Coach Hatlestad, Ray Bernston, Denny Gillund, Lee Samson, Jerry Busche, Managers Russ Danielson and Harvey Lerud. Denny adds, "I remember the Class of 1961 team returned to the state tourney and lost to Minot, the eventual state champs. Two years in a row to Grand Forks, a great two years!" It was the 1960 state champs.
Remember the class of 1961 returned to the state tourney and lost to Minot the eventual state champs. Let see that picture. Two years in a row to Grand Fork, a great two years.
