Barb (Sheppard) Lang, Chair of our Class of 1961 Reunion Committee, spoke for the class when she said: "We have always been proud of Jack's accomplishments in jurisprudence, particularly his outstanding and respected service as District Judge. We know him too as a fun and inspiring classmate and an outstanding basketball player on the Hiliners' state championship team. Congratulations, Jack, on a long and distinguished career on the bench and best wishes for a wonderful and much deserved retirement!"

I so remember how Jack helped me find my "unknown" in Mr. Krushwitz's chemistry class. Without his astute guidance, I might have failed chemistry and would still be in high school. Thanks, Jack!
