Our very own Dead Sea scrolls!

They say the Dead Sea Scrolls were written closer to the beginning of Christianity. Well, the May 31, 1957, issue of the Junior Hi-Liner that Rhea (DeLaBarre) Mills discovered and took the time to scan for us is "closer" to our own beginnings in school at Valley City, N.D., than the Sheyenne Yearbook material we've posted previously. This is a great find, Rhea, and thanks for sharing it!

I placed each of Rhea's scans into a single PDF file which you can view online or download and print. Simply click here: Junior Hi-Liner. After the document appears on your screen, be sure to select the blue print link in the upper left-hand corner of the Google screen to bring in the actual PDF at full resolution (whether you plan to print or not). Then, if you want to print it, you can then use your computer's usual print command. Remember that this document (and all of those on this Google blog) won't view or print properly without going to Google "print" link on the first screen that opens.

After the actual PDF file is in front of your on your screen, remember you can magnify the page for greater clarity by selecting the percentage at the top of your PDF reader. Like the Dead Sea Scrolls, some of this "ditto-printed" document is challenging to read--but it is readable, particularly if you enlarge it a bit. If you don't care for screen-reading, the entire PDF file is easily printed out on letter-size paper
