Hospitality central!

Having the historic President's House on the campus of Valley City State University available as a "hospitality and visiting center" for 1961 classmates and their friends from the All-60's reunion was a wonderful idea that was well-used by attendees. The coffee was always on and the fresh pasteries, chips and other goodies were always available. Yearbooks, memorabilia of all kinds, and photos from the past were items everyone enjoyed browsing. This house has a number of bedrooms, some with bath, and is available as a "Bed and Breakfast" rental throughout the year.

This is a wonderful historic home, and it was an excellent place for the Class of 61 to gather. Our thanks should go to Lou Vay Ruemler and Marlene Miller, as they are amongst the small group of ladies who have restored the house and take care of it.
They want to create a much better handicapped access before our next reunion, which will likely be much needed! Some of us were exhausted trying to get up those 40 steps to the front door.
I know that donations would be gratefully received - just make checks payable to VCSU for the Presidents House and send them to LouVay!!
