Fantastic job on printed Classmates' Booklet!

Hey, gang, don't miss this one! It's the outstanding 1961 Classmates' Booklet with photos and text covering our 1961 Reunion Events in Valley City last June (2010), with all of the submitted classmate information pages reproduced in this 124-page black and white publication. Cost is only $20 and that includes shipping. Click here for order form.

Diane (Sauer) Hughes (VCHS '61) and now of Phoenix, Arizona, edited and produced the booklet and is doing all of the shipping. Her address is on the order form. This was her baby all the way, from concept through execution. And she's done an amazing job!

As you can see, I received my copy recently and I was absolutely blown-away by the quality of the black and white photos and the way Diane did this. The spiral binding I'm pointing to was an excellent idea, makes for easy reading; open it up and point out your old flames to your current spouse (ha-ha, a little joke there). By the way, don't try to read the stickies on my computer!

The booklet covers reunion events and features photos from all three 1961 classes, Valley City High School, St. Kates, and College High, plus a few extra faces from the All-60's Reunion. Never-before-published photos of activities at the President's House are particularly interesting.

Although this publication is available - unabridged - free of charge on this blog via a downloadable PDF, there is something special about a printed book, and, I think, there always will be. And we've got a very special book right here, right now, bringing back memories from a weekend in Valley City I will never forget. - Larry Gauper, der Blogmeister  (Click on photo for larger image)

And I'll "third" it -- I ordered two copies, one for Colorado and one for North Dakota, so I'll always have it at hand.
I do believe that most of our generation prefers hard copies to something on a computer disc or a file folder!
My snail mailing to our classmates who don't use e-mail is producing orders as well, and I'm very glad about that -- it will be especially nice for those who couldn't attend the reunion.
I'll bet $100 that no class before us has produced such a wonderful Book of Memories. THANK YOU DIANE.
