What's our booklet editor/producer doing now?

If you're a reader of this blog, you know by now that Diane (Sauer) Hughes has completed a truly outstanding Classmates Booklet with photos and text covering our excellent 50th Anniversary celebration of the Class of 1961 (in our 49th year, June, 2010). You can order a black and white printed copy of the book for $20 (and that includes postage!); Instructions/order form further on down on this blog. The complete booklet in color is available for downloading to your computer. Go to the link on this blog and page.

So what is she doing with all her free time now? As the photo shows, Diane is creating a blanket for her 5th great grandchild due December 30th, 2010. Hey, just in time to be a useful tax deduction for a couple of lucky parents! Our very best to the parents-to-be and to Grandma Diane and Grandpa Nick. Glad to see you've got something to keep you busy, Diane, after those many hours, days and months you spent producing a wonderful artifact of our get-together in Valley City last June. Keep us posted on that new arrival when he or she arrives! - der Blogmeister  (as with most photos on this blog, click on picture for larger image)

Diane, I note that your kitchen looks immaculate and you haven't even junked up your refrigerator with magnets and "stuff".
Is your house on the market??? Just kidding -- I'm very impressed, not only with your neatness, but with your ability to make a quilt. Your grandchildren are very lucky to receive such a special gift.

Actually the house IS for sale! But I normally don't have anything on the counters or magnets on the refrig. I'm not the cleanest housekeeper in the world but I do try to keep the clutter to a minimum -- except in my office. That can be a really big mess!
